For Artists

Ojai Underground is an 80-seat, ticketed listening-room venue dedicated to presenting high-quality live performances in an intimate setting. To maintain the sustainability of our programming and ensure a great experience for both artists and audiences, we primarily book performers who have an established local, regional, or national following and can reliably draw at least half of the room’s capacity.

Artists who are still in the process of building a fan base are encouraged to continue performing and developing their audience through local venues such as bars, restaurants, and breweries that host and compensate live musicians. These community spaces provide excellent opportunities for artists to grow their following before stepping into ticketed listening-room environments like Ojai Underground.
